Beauty and the Beast

Show Overview

I played Gaston in Pieter Toerien and Hazel Feldman’s premiere production. It was my first “beeg” musical and a massive launch for me in South African Musical Theatre. Sibu Radebe was a godsend as my sidekick and Talia Kodesh was my Belle. Anton Luitingh played the Beast and he pushed my off a tower to my death 8 times a week. At the end of it all, I earned my first Naledi and Fleur du Cap Awards – both for Best Performance in a Musical.
